DISCLOSURE PURSUANT TO THE 2016/67 EUROPEAN REGULATION
GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION
WITH REGARD OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Management, by thanking you for choosing to use the Services provided by our Structure, wishes to inform you that from May 25th 2018, after a period of 2 years for the transition and adaptation from national legislation (Legislative Decree 196 of 30th June 2013) to that European, is directly applied, in binding form for Professionals, Companies and Public Administration in all European Union countries, the Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data of the Interested Parties (or rather, the natural persons to whom the data refer).

In accordance with Section II (Principles) and Chapter III (Rights of the Interested Party) of the GDPR, in relation to the obligation of disclosure to the interested parties and the gathering of informed consent for the treatment of the personal data of the Guests, the Management of the Center Cultural Don Orione Artigianelli of Venice, Local office of the Religious Province of San Marziano of Don Orione with Headquarter in Milan, as Data Processor, in the persons explained below, provides the following information.

The personal data of the interested parties (for example name and surname, place and date of birth, address, telephone number and email address, tax code, etc.) collected at the time at the Reception by authorized persons, for the purpose designated and trained in the carrying out their institutional functions, are treated in compliance with the laws, regulations and principles of fairness and protection of confidentiality for purposes exclusively related to the performance of institutional activities.

The processing of personal data is carried out manually and/or with the help of computer systems and may consist of any operation or set of operations carried out on personal data of the interested party such as the collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, modification, extraction, selection, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and/or destruction. In any case, personal data are processed with suitable tools to guarantee security, storage and protection for the period of time prescribed by Italian law.

All the staff of the Cultural Center Don Orione Artigianelli in Venice, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 (Principles applicable to the processing of personal data) of the Rules, has been informed and trained on the rules concerning the processing of personal data that must be processed according to lawfulness , correctness and transparency by accessing only the databases and personal data necessary and relevant to the performance of the tasks that have been entrusted to him and only for specific and legitimate purposes not exceeding his duties in respect of the rights and dignity of the interested party and professionalism of their colleagues.

All personnel are committed to the utmost confidentiality and discretion regarding the general characteristics and particular details of their duties and not to disclose any of the information they become aware of when performing the tasks assigned to them, either because they are connected with such activities or by chance. (Article 28 paragraph 3 letter b of the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation).

In response to explicit and cogent regulatory provisions and, in any case, for the purposes necessary for the performance of the institutional functions of the Don Orione Artigianelli Cultural Center of Venice, the personal data held may be communicated to other parties belonging to the Public Administration with the right (Public Authority Security, etc.) and upon specific request to the Judicial Authority.

Under the GDPR, the current national legislation and according to the procedures and within the limits provided for, the interested party can exercise the following rights:

request confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning the person (right of access);

know its origin;

receive comprehensible communication;

have information about the logic, methods and purposes of the processing;

request the updating, correction, integration, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, 

   blocking  of data  processed in violation of the law,  including those no longer necessary  for the

   pursuit of the purposes for which they were collected;

in cases of consent-based processing, receive their data provided to the holder, in a structured and

  readable form by a data processor and in a format commonly used by an electronic device;

the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

The Data Controller is the Religious Province of San Marziano of Don Orione, Viale Caterina da Forlì n. 19 – Milan – Italy in the person of its Legal Representative.

The Data Processing Manager of the Don Orione Artigianelli Cultural Center, Dorsoduro 909/a in Venice is the Managing Director.

We explicitly state that any refusal to process the personal data requested implies for the Managing Director of the Cultural Center Don Orione Artigianelli in Venice the objective impossibility to comply with the obligations of law and contract and therefore affects the admission of the person concerned to the services provided by the Structure.
