Su e Zo (“Up and Down the Bridges”) walk is a spring event that involves thousands of people in a walk for solidarity around Venice alleys: young and not-so-young people, families, school groups, sport teams, all together in a day devoted to meeting, friendship and solidarity. Two possible routes to choose from: the 12,5 km walk which crosses 42 bridges with departure and arrival in Piazza San Marco and the short one, 6 km walk crossing 20 bridges, with departure from Piazzale della Stazione and arrival in St. Mark’s Square. Discover the cultural route designed in collaboration with the Sustainable Tourism Department of the Municipality of Venice.The theme of the itinerary suggested to the participants of the 40th Up and Down the Bridges, in the European Year of Cultural Heritage, is the discovery of Venice, a walk in art and history, turning through the less known areas of the city, off the beaten track.
