PERSPECTIVES IN HAMILTONIAN DYNAMICS 18th-22nd JUNE 2018
The important conference organized by Prof. Gabriella PINZARi and Prof. Massimiliano GUZZO from Mathematic Department of the University of Padua Tullio Levi-Civita was held on our Sala Goldoni.

The aim of this conference is to gather specialists working in the field of Hamiltonian systems, in particular near-integrable systems, celestial mechanics, perturbative techniques, Kolmogorov-Arnold-Moser and Nekhoroshev theories and Arnold diffusion.

The conference is funded by the ERC project Stable and chaotic motions in the planetary problem.

The planetary problem consists in determining the motions of n planets, interacting among themselves and with a sun, via gravity only. Its deep comprehension has relevant consequences in Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics.

The goal of this research is to find non-trivial orbits for this intriguing and largely unknown problem.
